In October 2011, Dr. Murrell signed an agreement with QTC, a Lockeed Martin Company, to provide psychological evaluation for the military personnel returning from deployment overseas.  He will be evaluating for PTSD as well as Traumatic Brain Injury.  QTC is an international company with 11,000 professional consultants stationed all over the work near U.S. military installations.  It is an honor to be chosen to do evaluations on the brave men and women who have chosen to defend the United States.

In January 2012, Dr. Murrell contracted with Logistics Health Incorporated to provide services in Springfield for the treatment of PTSD.  This involves doing individual disability determination evaluations for soldiers who have been provisionally diagnosed with PTSD or similar trauma related disorder. In addition to providing individual and family counseling the soldiers will be invited to join in group therapy to build supportive relationships among peers who have suffered similar traumatic situations.  It is an honor to be chosen to be the provider of psychological services for this well respected organization.  This is an international corporation which provides mental health services worldwide for the U.S. military.

Dr. Murrell is on staff at Drury University in Springfield, Mo.  He teaches a Psychology 199 course in entitled, "Paranormal Psychology and Developing your Intuition Skills". It is interesting to know that as you become psychologically healthier that your intuition can be greatly enhanced.  For more information contact the Drury campus at 417-873-7879.

Dr. Murrell completed the training in  doing Compensation and Pension reviews for VES and LHI.  This course was a review in how the VA now want their reports in writing medical opinions and aggravation opinions. This coursework was completed on December 12, 2015.  This is part of the work of psychologists who are hired to provide a second opinion on the diagnosis of veterans who need compensation and pension reviews.

Dr. Murrell completed a workshop on December 20, 2015 with presenter Carol Forgash, LCSW entitled "Healing the Heart of Trauma and Dissociation with EMDR and Ego State Therapy".  This workshop was presented through six DVDs and provided 12 hours of Continuing Education Credits.  The presentation was excellent and when Dr. Murrell made comments on the work, Ms. Forgash has included them in her online promotion of the workshop.

On November 22, 2017 Dr. Murrell completed an innovative workshop put on by The Trust entitled "On Demand Practice in the Age of Telepsychology" by Jana Martin, Ph.D., Deborah Baker J.D. and Alex Siegel, J.D.
